since i'm pretty sure you shouldn't pin your own pictures on pinterest, i have to save this idea somehow and use it again:
used stampin' up 1 1/4" grossgrain ribbon for the flower, craft paper for wrapping, burlap to back the flower, and twine/hemp/rope stuff for the 'ribbon'
